Job description
We're looking for a Paralegal to help drive forward the legal function at Token. We are open to candidates interested in working full-time, part-time fully remote, hybrid or office based.
Reporting to Token’s General Counsel, you will work closely with client-facing teams and internal control functions so that our arrangements with customers and vendors are entered into and maintained using efficient, legal, compliant and auditable means.

What you'll do day to day
- Point of contact for all contracts management for vendors and clients.
- Support the client-facing teams in preparing contracts for vendors and clients.
- Generate approval documentation and gaining sign-off for this.
- Manage the signature process of all Token group contracts via DocuSign or contract automation tools.
- Develop and maintain automated contracts.
- Train colleagues on how to use contract automation.
- Maintain relationship with contract automation partner.
- Management of all new and existing NDAs.
- Learning how to assess impact of potential changes to existing customer and vendor contractual terms and conditions and be able to communicate the implications effectively.
- Support internal vendor managers maintaining appropriate terms and conditions with vendors.
- Develop and maintain processes and procedures to ensure that colleagues’ interaction with Token legal is smooth and efficient
- Build relationships with key colleagues to promote understanding of legal issues.
- Legal research of contractual or regulatory issues.
- Support the GC on maintaining Client Terms and Conditions, dealing with periodic updates.
- Develop and maintain a precedent bank of Token legal documents
More about you
- We’d like to hear from candidates who have:
- A Legal background, either a law degree/PGDL and/or Legal Practice Course
- Proven experience in a relevant role
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
- Experience of drafting formal communications to external parties
- Working knowledge of contracts and standard contracting terms for supply of goods and services across jurisdictions in the UK and European Union
- It’s also good if you have:
- Experience of working in the Fintech sector, and in particular in Payments
- Experience of dealing with large financial institutions
- Working knowledge of contracts and standard contracting terms in a regulated sector
- Experience of negotiating with customers and suppliers
- German language skills
- GDPR knowledge and experience
