Job Title: Paralegal
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
- Assist solicitors in preparing legal documents, such as contracts, witness statement etc
- Organize and maintain legal files and documents
- Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal proceedings
- Schedule appointments, hearings, and meetings for solicitors
- Draft correspondence and communicate with clients on behalf of solicitors
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as billing and timekeeping
Requirements:
- A 2:1 law degree (or equivalent P/GDL grade).
- LPC/SQE qualification preferable but not necessary.
- At least one year work experience as a paralegal.
- Verbal and written fluency in Cantonese is desirable.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and legal software applications.
