Hours: 09:00-17:00, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours a week)

Role overview
Introduction to the role:
This role involves supporting solicitors with management of their cases including attending conferences, settlement meetings, court and assisting in drafting witness statements, court documents etc. The role may also require the paralegal to be seconded to clients to support claims and inquest management.
Introduction to the team:
This role provides the opportunity to join one of the fastest growing teams in Hill Dickinson. The Health Litigation team have been growing year-on-year with a team of over 100 lawyers and national coverage, we are one of the leading firms providing legal advice and support to the NHS and independent healthcare organisations.
Our Health team can genuinely say it is award winning, we have previously been named as Legal Services Provider of the Year by the Health Service Journal. We were also shortlisted in the HealthInvestor Awards 2020.
Key responsibilities:
- Assisting solicitors with the running of clinical negligence cases for NHS Resolution.
- Instructing experts and obtaining factual evidence from witnesses.
- Drafting Letters of Responses for review by solicitors.
- Updating clients and taking responsibility for meeting deadlines.

- Some prior experience in clinical negligence
