Job Title: Panel Beater (ATA preferred or NVQ3)
Pronto Accident Repir Centres are expanding their team!
We are looking to recruit at least one experienced Panel Beater to join our Pronto (Cambs West) team, you will be based at our Home Farm Drive Alconbury branch, PE28 4WD.
An explanation of you role within our team:
We will require you to repair or replace as necessary all exterior bodywork panels of damaged vehicles, we encourage our team to specialise in the repair of all steel panels and plastic components, we allow you to express your skills and talent, working under you own intative.
You will be encouraged to invest time and use your talent to repair what ever is possible, you are empowered to make decisions and chose the best repair method, within the guidelines of industry standards, you are encouraged to use the Estimated Repair instructions as details on the job card, if you think this can be done differently or better we will encourage you to demonstrate this and document it with Images and Coments
Main Tasks:
Dismantle and repair damaged vehicles by either repairing damaged panels or by replacing those that are deemed beyond repair.
There will be training and coaching on all the equipment that will be used, this to include body jigs, measuring systems, bonding and rivetting equipment, welding equipment, dent pulling and glue pulling systems to ensure they are operated safetly as per the instructions,
If you are not familiar with adhering to the manufacturer standards or Thatcham Methods we will explain and coach so that you can fully understand the literature and any modification bulletins that are appropriate to the repair and to the replacement of structural and composite panel work.
We offer full industry qualification and training through our IMI Approved Training Centre, we will encourage you to attend appropriate training courses to enable you to be trained refreshed and updated on new techniques and product developments.
You will be required to handle all vehicles with due care and attention ensuring that customer care and satisfaction is maintained at all times, you will be required to look after and maintain any tools and equipment owned by the company to ensure you and your colleagues are always operating in safe and in a clean workshop environemnt.
We encourage you to be aware of and adhere to our standards of workshop organisation, cleaning, tidying and this includes the safe storage of parts and displaced parts, in our business the Housekeeping and Health and Safety regulations and policies enable us to operate effectivly and professionally and you will be working in a team and an environment which you can be proud of.

Working within a motivated team and in a focused and forward thinking business, working within the team at Pronto (Cambs West) you will willingly undertake any other reasonable tasks or duties that are deemed to be within your capability, the team will challenge each other pushing the boundaries of versatility flexibility inspiring a willingness for everyone to work within a successful team, as the team work environment pushes through boundaries and enables them to achieve common goals and objectives and with the outstanding rewards as outlined below.
Pay:
Various Packages and Working Hours Schedules are offered 4, 5 or 6 day weeks with packages offering 43 to 47.5 hours per week.
Senior ATA Qualifed depending on experience up to £18.75 per Hour
Choose to work a 43 hour week this means your basic weekly salary will be £806.25 and you annual salary will be £42,000 per year
Performance Reward Team Bonus based on the past 4 months performance this is worth in excess of £500.00 per month per team member.
This is a Full Time Permanent Position
ATA or NVQ3 qualifications preferred and 3 years minimum experience, though certainly not essential
Salary Package: £42,000 £50,000.00 per year depending on working hours package chosen
