Pallet Machine Operator Rotherham, England
Job description
We have space for a Pallet Machine Operator, working in a fast paced packing environment. Daily duties will be to report to the production manager and the main aspect of the job will be running the automated nailing pallet machine.
All training will be given but this is an active job that requires lifting of up to 25kg repetitively over the day. In house training will be provided. At times when the machine isn't needed you could be doing any of the following:
Working on the bag and box kit production lines
Working on small in house assembly jigs and fixtures
Operating saws for the pallet manufacturing side
Using nail guns in the production of new pallets
Using pallet trucks and FLT if / when trained
Training will be provided for everything you do. We are fully Health and Safety compliant and offer a great working atmosphere.
Our hours of work are Monday to Friday 7.45am - 4pm with a 45 minute unpaid lunch break.
The starting pay for this job is £11 per hour with a chance to improve on this after your probationary period. We also offer an attendance bonus to help boost this figure.
All employees are enrolled into the Smart Pension scheme when there employment starts.
