Bristol City Council’s Joinery Shop produces a variety of doors, including our range of high spec fire doors, along with standard second fix joinery and bespoke specialist items, such as structural bridges for the local parks.
The Joinery Shop’s workload is always high, increasing year on year and has an amazing reputation for an excellent quality service from all its customers within the Council and beyond.
This is an exciting time for the team as we look to relocate to larger premises, enabling us to expand our service further and venture into new markets. Our friendly and highly skilled team are currently based in the centre of Bristol working a 37-hour week Monday to Friday.
This role will be one site-based, painting all our finished joinery items joining our current team of two painters. We are slowly moving into spraying some of our joinery items so experience in spraying would be good but not essential as training will be provided.
If you have a City and Guild craft level, NVQ level 2 or equivalent in Painting and decorating and can demonstrate that you’re a good team player, we would love to hear from you.
