Job description
Duties:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as necessary
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results
- Use airless paint spraying equipment to apply paint evenly and efficiently
- Operate power tools and equipment such as sanders, grinders, and spray guns
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear while working
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and quality results
Qualifications:
- Experience in industrial painting or a related field preferred
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus
- Familiarity with auto body repair techniques is beneficial
- Ability to operate power tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments for accurate work
- Basic math skills for measuring and mixing paint quantities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift heavy objects as required
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
