NDUSTRIAL CLEANER/HYGIENE OPERATIVE - DAYS
Hunters 4 Staff are delighted to be assisting our client in recruiting Industrial Cleaner/Hygiene Operatives to work at our clients premises in Peterborough - PE7
The successful cleaners will be working within a food manufacturing plant undertaking physically demanding roles such as cleaning floors, walls and drains using foamers and pressure washers.
Main duties and Responsibilities
· To carry out all cleaning tasks as detailed by the Cleaning Instruction Cards / work schedule, to agreed standard
· To carry out all tasks in accordance with the clients requirements following all legislation including Health and Safety, and Personal Hygiene.
· To ensure correct materials, equipment and methods are used at all times and equipment is kept clean and in good working order.
· Report faulty machinery / equipment immediately to supervisor.
· To ensure uniform is kept clean and tidy and is always worn whilst at work.
· To use every effort to develop and maintain effective working relationships with the customer and your colleagues.
· To ensure that all machinery is Isolated / locked off prior to cleaning, as trained.
· Correct use “as trained” of hazardous chemicals – acids / alkalis
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 6.00 am - 2.00 pm
Rate of pay: £11.00 per hour
