We are looking for a paid social eCommerce Media Buyer to join our growing team - Permanent Remote Position - Full-time Contractor Role - European Timezone.

We’ve channeled all that expertise (and not to forget our passion) to catapult multiple brands to 7 and 8 figures.

The Media Buyer sets up and manages ad accounts across multiple advertising platforms from A-Z, for Heavy Head Social’s new and existing clients, with the support of our creative partners and an assistant media buyer.

The primary focus of this role is managing and executing individual client strategies (including content) and managing different levels of ad spend across multiple platforms to meet clients expectations, for multiple accounts.

The Media Buyer needs to be fully aware of each clients' business, branding, expectations and goals/KPI's, at any given moment and use this in their decision making, communication and delivery.

They take full ownership of the accounts performance. They analyse, optimise and work together with the team to grow the accounts and meet the clients individual KPI’s/goals and expectations.

RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS

  • Be familiar with (and know the difference between) lookalikes, custom audiences, CPM’s, manual bidding, cost caps, and all different creative variants in Facebook.

  • Work towards and achieve your individual set KPI.

  • Being fully aware of the client's business, objectives and KPIs for success and using this knowledge in the thought and decision-making process.

  • Being able to fully understand, analyse and link advertising metrics on the platforms we manage for a client.

  • Analyse the impact of multiple advertising platforms and how these tie together and use this in your decision making and optimisation process.

  • Ensuring our multi-marketing strategies align (i.e. sharing strategies with the Email/SMS Marketing Specialist, using lead-gen effectively etc.)

  • Carry out thorough brand, avatar and competitor research and understand the importance of this when building out and implementing individual client strategies..

  • Creative research and analysis and understanding the importance of this when building out individual client content on each individual platform. (i.e. luxury brand, feature/benefit heavy etc. and what works format of content worlds best on each platform)

  • Copywriting specifically tailored to brands and their avatars

  • Know how to turn creative ideas into fully finished products with our creative team.

  • Managing and implementing strategies, angles, sales moments, content, campaigns etc. across multiple accounts/platforms to meet the clients individual KPI’s/goals and expectations.

  • Continual analysis of ad performance metrcis (including creative metrics) across all platforms, with the aim to use the data to test, improve and optimise their accounts performance for growth.

  • Continual analysis and optimisation of budget spend split across all advertising platforms.

  • Being proactive on any underperforming account against KPI’s and taking the appropriate measures to help get the performance back in line with the required metrics.

  • Giving feedback and advice to clients based on experience, research, and knowledge of the platforms.

  • Ensuring the attention to detail/quality control is of HHS standards and the clients’ branding and individual expectations are met.

  • Keeping up to date in their knowledge of the platforms (including any new techniques/strategies) as well as upskilling themselves to deliver their best and meet their KPIs.

  • Understanding how to prioritise, knowing whats urgent and what will make the biggest impact for the client and the agency and acting upon that first.

  • Understanding the implications any action/decision made has on the performance of the client’s account and on the rest of the team.

  • Take full ownership of accounts and hold themselves accountable for the client's performance.

  • Keeping the team fully informed of all changes and updates happening on the clients' accounts all times.

  • Assist in the training and progression of the junior or new members on our team when and if needed.

  • Work with, manage and effectively delegate to the assistant media buyer allocated to their accounts. (while maintaining a full overview and ownership)

  • Follow all company processes and live and breathe our Culture Manual.

  • Understanding that we are an international agency and we work with clients from all over the world in different time-zones.

  • Understand that Media Buying is not a 9 to 5 job and Facebook never sleeps. And that we are an international agency working with clients from all over the world

  • Report to the Account Managers (& Leadership Team where relevant) on all the above as and when required.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Have a minimum of 1 years of experience running eCommerce Facebook/Instagram Ads.

  • Experienced in managing $30k+ budgets per month on Facebook (single ad account), with a strong track record of proven results within the eCommerce space - preferably fashion.

  • Have worked in a team environment before and enjoyed it.

  • Be fluent in English (spoken and written).

  • Google, Pinterest and TikTok ad experience would be beneficial but not essential (and training can be provided)

  • Some knowledge of the following platforms would be a plus - Asana, Slack & Google Workspace.
