The role
The Paid Marketing Specialist will play a pivotal role in the planning, execution, and optimisation of our paid digital marketing campaigns. This role requires a deep understanding of various paid advertising platforms (including Google and Meta), data analysis, and a creative mindset to drive impactful results. The successful candidate will work closely with the team to create and manage campaigns that drive traffic, engagement, leads, and conversions.
Responsibilities
- Campaign strategy and planning - Develop and execute paid digital marketing campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels. Collaborate with the team to align campaign strategies with overall business goals and target audience
- Keyword and audience research - Conduct thorough research to identify relevant keywords, target demographics, and audience segments for each campaign. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to refine targeting strategies
- Ad creation and copywriting - Craft compelling ad content that resonates with the target audience. Optimise ad formats to maximise click-through rates (CTR), engagement and conversions
- Bid management - Monitor and adjust bidding strategies to ensure optimal campaign performance. Analyse data to make data-driven decisions that improve ROI and drive cost-effective results.
- A/B testing- Set up and manage A/B tests to continuously optimise campaigns based on test results to enhance performance
- Data analysis and reporting- Regularly analyse campaign performance metrics, prepare comprehensive reports that highlight successes, challenges, and actionable insights to supply to clients
- Conversion optimisation- Collaborate with the website and UX teams to optimise landing pages and user journeys, ensuring seamless transitions from ad clicks to conversions
- Budget management- Efficiently manage campaign budgets to ensure proper allocation across channels and campaigns. Monitor spend and adjust as needed to maximise results.
- Stay current with industry trends- Stay updated on the latest developments in digital marketing
Requirements
- At least two years proven hands-on experience as a Digital Marketing Specialist, with a focus on paid advertising campaigns
- Expertise in using platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and other relevant advertising tools
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective ad copywriting and reporting
- A creative mindset with the ability to conceive and experiment with new ideas
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, such as Google Analytics
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and tasks simultaneously
- Familiarity with SEO principles and their integration with paid campaigns
