Our in-vitro Diagnostic Assay manufacturing site in Dundee has an exciting opportunity for a Packing Operator to join the Assembly team. Shift pattern: 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. / 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. (Monday-Friday) What You’ll do As a Packing Operator within a Kit Packing environment you will be primarily responsible for safely ensuring the on-time delivery of finished/assembled (packed) product which conforms to current best practices and Quality standards. More specifically: Accurately follow instructions, such as SOPs/KLFs/PBRs, to ensure that product is produced accurately and in line with Quality instructions. Complete Quality documentation Be able to operate Packing/Kit Assembly Equipment Actively seek out and contribute to continuous improvements activities Follow the Health & Safety standards of the Dundee site Required Qualifications and Skills Nat 4, or equivalent, in English, Maths, or equivalent experience to demonstrate literacy and numeracy skills Drive and commitment to meet customer performance and delivery Must at times be flexible enough to react to changing business goals, juggle and manage personal workload as per business requirements An ability to communicate effectively to a wide audience Demonstrate excellent attention to detail Knowledge of GMP production processes and procedures As you’d expect from a global healthcare company, Abbott has health, wellbeing and financial benefits that help provide security for you and your family.
