Cheese Packers (Temporary Christmas) 10+ positions available£11ph + Premium Rates For Weekends and Double Time for any hours worked over 40 per week (£22ph) + £350 Bonus if you attend and complete all of your scheduled shifts from now until Christmas.38 hrs per weekWork is varied, challenging and rewarding - in your role, you will be cutting, wrapping and boxing cheeses for a variety of retail customers, ensuring they receive great cheese on time, every time. You will be involved in making sure we continue to be a safe and healthy place to work, championing great health and safety and food quality standards from start to finish.Key tasks and responsibilities:Work as part of a team on packing lines to portion and wrap cheeses, ensuring the packing plans are completed on time and in full.Move products as they become ready for different stages of the packing process.Pack wrapped product into bulk packaging for transport.Ensure products are appropriately and accurately labelled.Ensure work areas and equipment is kept clean.Accurately complete any associated administration.The successful candidates will need to demonstrate the following:Ability to be a supportive and flexible team memberBe diligent in following instructions and able to work at a fast pace without compromising quality or safety.Understand the importance of food hygiene and how to achieve the required standardsAbility to read, write and speak good English, including numerical informationUnderstand and apply safe working practicesUnderstand the relationship between the way products are stored, and its quality for the consumerPrevious dairy/food industry experience is desirable, but training will be givenWorking HoursIn our Packing Department will will operate across 7 days over the Christmas period, and you will work flexibly over 4 of these days. We require cover for the following shifts;6am - 4pm8am - 4pm10pm - 6amOur Pre-Pack Department will operate across 5 days over the Christmas period, (Mon-Fri), and you will work flexibly over 5 of these days. We require cover for the following shifts;6am - 2pm2pm - 10pmTraining will be provided to ensure that you will be multiskilled, providing variety of work for you and flexibility for the company.
