This is particularly critical as we continue our journey towards being a LEAN Enterprise. This is the biggest change in the way we work that Nestlé have ever seen. It’s worldwide. It is exciting. You could play a key part in it.

A day in the life of a Line Operator
Reporting to the Shift Manager, your main accountability will be to achieve performance targets by following SOP processes and adherence to standards while operating machines and systems. In addition to this, you will be ensuring that the process runs at its optimum, producing high quality product and coordinating actions where necessary on your line.
Other key responsibilities will include:
  • Ability to work as part of a team to delivery high quality products.
  • Ensure high safety and quality standards are adhered to.
  • Approach work with a continuous improvement mind-set.
  • Support with factory activities to achieve KPIs.

The role will also require adaptability and flexibility as you may be required to work in different areas of the department and plant.

What will make you successful
The successful candidates would ideally work in a Good Manufacturing Principles (GMP) environment before and be thorough, professional and care about the safety of themselves and others.

You will need to demonstrate you care about always delivering high quality products and have a good understanding of Good Manufacturing Principles. You will be able to demonstrate ownership, high levels of results focus and strong communication skills.

We are looking for people who enjoy solving problems and exploring how things work, whilst continually thinking of new ideas to improve safety, quality and performance to meet consumer needs.

What you need to know
What can we offer in return? Great benefits you’d expect from a business the size of Nestlé – in the shape of a competitive salary and benefits package, bonus scheme, good holiday allowance per year, pension scheme and a real focus on personal development and growth.
We will be considering candidates as they apply and we will occasionally close job advertisements early in the event we receive sufficient applicants, so please don’t delay in submitting your application.

At Nestlé, our values are rooted in respect – for our employees, our customers and our consumers. That’s why championing diversity and inclusion is so important to us; when we embrace different perspectives and give everyone the chance to be the best they can be, we can think in new, creative ways that grow and enhance our business. We are committed to equal opportunity for all and we may collect relevant data for monitoring purposes during our candidate registration process. Be yourself, everyone else is taken!

Right to work in the UK
In accordance with Home Office guidance successful candidates will be required to evidence their right to work in the UK before commencement of employment.
