Packing Line Leader - 4 on 4 off(Cranswick Prepared Poultry, Hull)Cranswick Country Foods Prepared Poultry is a specialty producer of delicious, cooked poultry ingredients and is a leading innovator in the industry. We create exciting, original products that meet the needs of today’s busy consumers. We are proud to have opened a brand new, purpose built, breaded chicken factory and have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team, as Line Leader in Processing Department.The main purpose of the role is to provide guidance and leadership to the operators in the packing department and to report line live KPI data to the Area Leader frequently. One of your main duties is also ensuring compliance with all system based processes and procedures within the department and to ensure continuity of standards.Main duties include:To conduct pre start up checks in area, checking the machines are set up correctly , no visual damage to the equipmentTo deliver smooth production at all times.To ensure stock rotation.To guide and train new starters.Maintain the highest health and safety standards.Ensure all traceability are recorded on traceability sheet and scanned into cmex system.Ensure all materials are clearly identified with traceability tags. Ensure waste is kept to a minimum and second nature is the forefront of the operation.Any other responsibilities commensurate with the post. Any other reasonable requests made by the Shift Managers or Area Leader.Understanding and application of hazard identification and near miss reporting.Understanding of relevant risk assessments and trained as competent to safe working procedures.In addition, you will undertake any training that the company deems necessary that may assist you to effect the above responsibilitiesKnowledge & SkillsProven experience of FMCG manufacturing (preferably food related)Excellent level of attendance and timekeepingJob Types: Permanent, Full-timeSalary: £13.24 per hourBenefits:Company pensionCycle to work schemeDiscounted or free foodOn-site parkingStore discountSchedule:12 hour shiftDay shiftOvertimeExperience:Food Manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)Work Location: In personApplication deadline: 14/08/2023Expected start date: 18/08/2023
