Job description
The Fish People are looking for someone to join our team to manage website deliveries to customers throughout the UK. We are looking for someone who is confident and capable of working from their own initiative and who is keen to take on a role that will evolve and adapt as the business grows. The candidate must be responsible and reliable. The role would involve initially:
- Printing and preparing the delivery notes and shipping labels daily
- Organising your stock once it arrives in the morning
- Ensuring orders are packed neatly & correctly.
- Ensuring orders are counted and scanned to the courier.
- Notifying any customers of unavailable items & keeping note of refunds.
- Keeping your working area clean and organised.
- Managing your stock of packing materials.
- Managing customer emails & calls with queries regarding orders (training given)
The ideal candidate is organised and confident in their ability to manage their workload, as well as polite & friendly.
Intended start date is Tuesday 9th May 2023.
The job is based at our retail shop at 350 Scotland street, Glasgow, G5 8QF. Easily accessible by public transport. You will work alongside our friendly retail & kitchen team.
Working hours are Tuesday-Friday 8am until 4pm.
Previous experience in a similar role is not necessary as full training will be provided. If you are interested, please send across your CV.
