Job Vacancy – Packing/Amazon Prime Assistant

We are a small family business in the New Forest creating laser engraved gifts. We design, make and dispatch orders from our premises in Ringwood to include mugs, cushions, jewellery, keyrings, plaques and other gifts, and we are especially proud of our Christmas collection!

Job description
You will be based across two departments with a 2/3 day split. Working in our packing department helping prep and dispatch orders and also working within our Amazon Prime department.
We have a growing selection of products that we sell through various platforms such as Amazon, Etsy and through our website and we are very proud of our exceptional metrics and performance on Amazon.
Our products are handmade here in the New Forest and some will require hand finishing before being packaged and dispatched, ie: ribboning, bagging and attaching barcodes. Customer details and personalisation will also need to be checked before dispatching so attention to detail to maintain accuracy levels is key. Orders must be dispatched asap so the ability to work at speed when needed is essential.
There is a level of repetitiveness to this position but also the challenge of completing the tasks are rewarding. We have very positive feedback for our customer service, products and delivery and we strive to maintain that.
Christmas is our busiest period but also lots of fun. You will be working in a fast paced environment where we work as a team and support each other, every day looks slightly different, so the ability to be adapt to this is advantageous, as you may sometimes be required to assist other departments. Elements of this job will require manual handling.

Driver with own vehicle is preferred as limited public transport to our premises.
Hours & terms
Monday – Friday 9.00 – 4.30pm with 30 minutes paid lunch or 1 hour unpaid lunch break.
28 days annual leave including bank holidays plus additional days for long service.
Uniform provided.

Salary
Negotiable dependant on experience.
