Manager –Packing Centre Manager
Working Hours – 7am – 6pm, Monday – Friday (occasionally Saturday)
Hours per week – 40 hours over 4 days. Working days to be confirmed.
Term - Permanent contract offered upon successful completion of 3 month Probation Period.
Job Description
Lintz Hall Farm are looking to recruit a Packing Centre Operative to work in our Packing Centre, working as part of a team on our new egg grading production line equipment to pack eggs to fulfil orders.
The main responsibilities of a Packing Centre Operative are:
· Food Safety
· Set up and operation of grading and packing equipment
· Pre-candling
· Candling
· Packing of finished product
· Palletising finished product
· Cleaning of equipment and environmental areas in accordance with documented cleaning procedures and schedules
· Preparation of customer orders
· Maintaining effective stock control and rotation
· Monitoring temperatures of packing centre
· Health & safety
· Ensuring company maintains certification to BEIC Lion Quality Scheme, RSPCA and OF&G Standards
· Ensuring company maintains certification to BRCGS Food Standard
Full training on the specific requirements of the job will be provided.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £7.49-£10.92 per hour
