Job description

CLOSING DATE 30 JANURAY 2023 As a Packer, Greengate Business Unit you will primarily responsible for Packing pumps and spares in wooden cases. You will be keen to take on challenges, develop your leadership and or skills potential as well as expand your knowledge and experience through a variety of exciting initiatives.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the packing and manufacture of skids and crates for system dispatch as required
  • Responsible for ensuring product is labelled, marked and marshalled for customer collections
  • Assist with the packing of spares items for dispatch via couriers
  • Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly and perform basic preventative maintenance functions on equipment if necessary
  • Comply with all NOV Company, Quality + HSE policies and procedures .
  • Carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by line manager

EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience of manufacturing packing crates and skids within a manufacturing/warehouse environment
  • Working in a packing/warehouse environment
  • Basic packing for UK and export requirements
  • Case making for export requirements
  • Working with wood working machinery

SKILLS, TRAINING OR SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE:

  • Manual handling, Slinging and lifting
  • FLT license (Desired)
