Job description
We are looking for an enthusiastic, switched-on and hard-working individual to pick, pack and dispatch orders via DPD from our cake bakery in Kenn, North Somerset.
Working under the supervision of the packing coordinator, you will be working independently to fulfil the daily orders received through our website and via head office. On quieter dispatch days and after courier collections have been made, you will be also required to help out in other areas of the packing department.
Your main responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
- Printing orders received via email.
- Picking and packing orders into boxes.
- Organising delivery notes.
- Booking in parcels with DPD online.
- Writing a stock sheet for the office showing product available.
Attitude is more important than experience, as full training will be provided. Please note, there is some heavy lifting required with this role.
Job Type: Full time, 12 month contract to cover maternity leave. May become permanent.
Salary: £10.50 per hour.
Hours 8.30 am- approx 4pm, Monday – Friday.
Can discuss possibility of a slightly later start time if required.
