We are looking for a packer/driver for our fast-growing store in Spitalfields, London.
Job Description :
At PACK & SEND we specialise in assessing and preparing the most suitable type of packaging for any item our customers need to send using different materials and techniques to protect every single one of our shipments. We have many years of experience packing and sending art, antiques and collectables all over the world. We literally pack and send anything anywhere, but specifically, we always make sure that even the most delicate and valuable deliveries travel securely so that they remain in perfect condition throughout transit.
Role and Responsibilities :
- Handle and pack objects of different shapes and sizes using bubble-wrap, cardboard boxes, ethanfoam and other packing materials in our store.
- General packing and inventory of non-fragile items in cardboard boxes.
- Build custom boxes in compliance with the given measurements and specifications.
- Ensuring valuable items are securely packed for shipping and transport.
- Plan to pack products according to the order of each customer.
- Helping in loading and unloading our vans when they are back from. collections.
- Ensure that the workplace is always kept clean & tidy.
Experience packing is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided at the store.
