Job description
This full time role is based at Kintore and involves packing frozen orders before dispatch to our customers. This role will involve working within a chilled warehouse environment in temperatures of approximately 5 degrees (appropriate training/PPE will be provided).
Working 06.00 – 14.00 hours Monday to Friday and overtime would be expected in our busy periods and in the weeks before Christmas.
The Duties will include:
· On a daily basis, packing Donald Russell products to exact specifications, ensuring that are the orders are correct
· Operating scanning and barcode equipment
· Completion of all necessary paperwork
· Counting, moving lifting and stacking products
· Liaising and communicating with other Departments within Fulfilment on the status of orders
· Ensuring that work areas are kept clean and tidy and all personal equipment is kept in safe working order
· Ensure good housekeeping practices within work area
· Maintaining quality and hygiene standards
Essential Skills & Experience:
· Previous experience within a food dispatch environment would be beneficial but not essential
· Good standard of both written and verbal English to ensure adherence to food safety regulations
· Knowledge of relevant packing equipment would be beneficial but not essential
· Ability to understand and adhere to food safety standards
· Manual dexterity
· Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail
