About usBuxton Butchers is a well-established catering butchers located on the edge of Bristol providing high quality meat and poultry to the catering sector.Responsibilities:- Inspect items for defects or damages before packing- Vacuum pack a variety of meat products in vacuum sealed bags and trays- Ensure that packed items are properly sealed correctly- Label all products accurately- Put packed products away correctly, rotating stock as required- Maintain a clean and organized work area- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines- Other ad-hoc jobs around the production area as requiredRequirements:- Ability to read, write and speak English to a good level- Previous experience in packing or warehouse environment preferred, but not required- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 20kg)- Attention to detail and accuracy in packing items- Good communication skills- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment- Reliable and punctualNote: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
