We are currently looking for a Package/Machine Operator to work on our site at St Helens Road, Bolton factory. This site manufactures life-saving products, predominantly for medical industry. We are also proud to support Ukrainian Medics where the products we make save lifes!
Job Overview
Working as part of a small team you will be working on what we call the Conversion Machine that slits medical comfort bandages to customer specification.
The role is fast paced and requires a keen attention to detail and great dexterity skills. You will be a key member of the small Manufacturing Team. You will be responsible for efficient and safe running of the operational asset to meet targets to the required hight quality standards whilst minimizing waste and downtime. You will be trained on various parts of the machine to allow for greater work flexibility and absence coverage. You will also have close support of Production Manager and well experienced team members.

Hours of Work
Monday – Friday on a rotation of either 2 rotating double shifts 06:00-14:00 & 14:00-22:00 or night shift 22:00 - 06:00 (40 hours per week, 8hours per day). The hours include 30 min unpaid lunch break per day, therefore your contractual paid working hours are 37.5 per week).
Overtime might be available to cover weekend work or holidays & absences.
