Packaging Operator
Location: Marshalls Road, Belfast
Contract: Permanent
Closing Date: 1st May 2023
Salary £36148.72 inclusive of 34% shift allowance
This role requires you to work a 42hr week continental day / night shift pattern This is to cover a 24-hour period. 2x 12-hour days, 2x 12-hour nights, 4 days off. Repeat.

About the role
As an Operator within our dedicated team at Marshalls Road you’ll play a pivotal role in the supply process and packaging team, maintaining the line and finding improvements where possible.
Within this role you’ll be responsible for the quality control of the line, operating packaging machine processes whilst following standard operating procedures for machine operation and set up time reduction as well as preparing the line for shift handovers.
Health and safety compliance is key and you’ll be at the forefront of making sure this is monitored alongside other KPI’s and targets including quality, hygiene, waste and efficiency.
About you
We’re looking for someone who can work well within a team as well as the ability to make effective decisions and thrive in situations where they can solve problems. You’ll have the aim to make a positive difference and show your excellent communication skills.
For this role you will have experience working in a production environment, and have demonstrable knowledge of Quality, Health and Safety and environmental risk principles.
It'd be great if you had a knowledge of working in the brewing and packaging industry, alongside a familiarity with SAP.
Experience working in a production environment would be beneficial but not a must-have for this role.
Onsite training will be provided.
