Print Packaging Assistant - Permanent
Gilmour & Dean, Eurostampa UK, a print company specialising in the high quality printing of labels primarily for the Spirit Bottling Industry have an opportunity within the Flexo Print Finishing department.
We have ambitious growth plans and are moving to a new state of the art print facility in North Lanarkshire, in Spring 2024. The new site will allow the company to increase capacity to meet market demand while providing enhanced benefits and welfare facilities for our employees. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team in a progressive company.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Inspection of printed PSL labels
- Ensuring labels are packed neatly and correctly
- Ensuring orders are packed according to the job ticket
- Keeping work area clean and organised
- Manual handling of packages
Experience & Skills:
- Be proficient in numeracy & literacy
- Ideally have experience within a print based production environment
- Be able to work on their own initiative & collectively as a crew
- Be reliable & possess an excellent timekeeping / attendance record
- Be conscientious and have an excellent attitude to work
*Full training will be provided*
This role will involve treble shift working (Backshift, Early shift, Night shift rotation).
