The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) has been set up to provide health security for the nation by protecting from infectious disease and external hazards. It will take action like no other organisation previously in order to mitigate threats to health before they materialise. UKHSA will be a trusted source of advice to government and to the public.
The Transformation Programme supports the Information Management, Data Governance and Privacy (IMP) function to provide UKHSA colleagues with the knowledge, tools, and support to process data and information lawfully. As an administrator for the programme, you will deliver proactive, timely, accurate and effective administrative and secretarial support on behalf of the team.
The role requires excellent organisational and time management skills, and displaying the ability to work under pressure and multi task across all aspects of administration. You are required to be proactive in managing a busy workload and will work on your own initiative on some occasions. You will need to exhibit a high level of communication, attention to detail and organisation skills which is key to the success in this role.
Main Responsibilities- Acting as the first point of contact and administrator for the team.
- Take and prepare meeting minutes, ensuring that key business decisions are correctly recorded, and progress is followed-up accordingly.
- Diary management and coordination for multiple senior colleagues.
- Ensure reports and presentations are professionally presented and consistent to UKHSA format.
- Contribute to the continuous programme improvement process and the meeting of UKHSA’s objectives.
- Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date reports, including programme and project dashboards and highlight reports.
This is a hybrid role with travel to our Canary Wharf office 2/3 times a week. This is a fixed term contract until December 2023.
The Ideal Candidate- Educated to degree level, or demonstrable PA and/ or Senior Administration experience.
- Extensive experience of supporting senior management level colleagues.
- IT literate - proficient in Microsoft Office 365 - includes MS Teams, Sharepoint, Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
- Excellent secretarial, interpersonal, communication and organisational skills are essential.
