We have a fantastic opportunity for an overnight bar cleaner to work in our dynamic team at The Belfry, England’s leading Hotel and Resort. We have 320 bedrooms, 2 rosette standard dining, five food and beverage outlets, fantastic leisure facilities including our 20 treatment rooms & pool and of course, what we are famous for…golf. We have a really exciting year ahead at The Belfry, starting with hosting The British Masters in June 2023, and continuing with the launch of new training and development opportunities and incentives.
The Brabazon Bar
The Brabazon Bar is the heart of our resort, and the ideal meeting place. The bar is a versatile space, serving light dishes and coffees during the morning, afternoon tea, and hand-crafted cocktails in the evening. The bar is home to live music during the weekend.
Salary
The on-target earning potential for this role is £10.83 - £11.07 hourly rate, compromising of a base hourly rate of £10.18 - £10.42 plus a qualified estimate of £0.65 gratuities per hour
We pay an additional £1.30 per hour after 11pm
About the role
The Night Bar Cleaning Assistant will have the full responsibility of closing down and preparing the bar area for service. We can offer flexibility on hours, but Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings tend to be our busiest and so most week’s rotas will include these. The overnight hours will be 11 pm – 07.30 am.
You will be responsible for
- Greeting guests in a warm, welcoming and friendly manner
- Cleaning & setting up the bar so the team can provide excellent customer service
- Deep cleaning the bar and identify different tasks needing the most attention each night
- Handing over any H&S concerns that you may find when working throughout your shift
- Maintaining a clean backroom
About you
The ideal candidate will have bar or cleaning experience but not essential and will possess excellent communication and presentation skills.
In addition, you will be:
