Job description
National Trench Safety, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Outside Sales Representative in our Newark, CA. Branch.
Summary: As an Outside Salesperson you will offer services to our clients, you will be responsible for representing the company to contractors, negotiating contracts, providing full customer service to our customers, and solutions on their projects to solve safety challenges.
Essential job Responsibilities:
- You will increase sales within revenue guidelines.
- Plan and organize business strategies to achieve desired results by extensive customer contact and responding to general bidding scenarios.
- Present, promote and sell services to existing and prospect customers.
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Expedite the resolution of customer dissatisfaction and inquiries to maximize satisfaction.
- Coordinate sales effort with corresponding departments.
- Analyze territory and markets potential, track sales and status reports.
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, and competitive activities.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and competencies:
- Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills.
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
- Proven outside sales record of accomplishment.
- Possesses good people skills with the ability to build productive business professional relationships.
- Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to use a computer with a proficiency in Microsoft programs including but not limited to Word, Excel, and outlook.
Experience, License, Education and/or Training:
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience preferred.
- Must have a clean DMV record and valid driver license.
- Minimum 3-5 years’ of solid outside sales experience ideally in the construction-related rental industry is preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
