Working 36 hours per week
£26,265 - £27,810 per annum pro rata
Fixed-term until 31/03/2024
Coventry Refugee and Migrant Centre (CRMC) is the only organisation in Coventry dedicated to providing impartial and confidential advice, guidance and support to asylum seekers, refugees and migrants living in and around the city. We are a local, medium-sized organisation which has been welcoming refugees and migrants since 2000. Our aim is to help people to rebuild their lives and achieve their full potential in safety and dignity whilst supporting integration and encouraging active citizenship.
We are looking to add a new member to our Combatting Destitution Team in the role of Outreach Worker! This position is being funded by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government, in partnership with the Coventry City Council.
We are searching for a dynamic, well-organised, and reliable individual to work with EU nationals. You will provide holistic outreach support to new and entrenched rough sleepers by meeting them where they are; in encampments, offices, and in their homes; to actively support them with a wide variety of needs, bring rough sleeping to an end, and prevent future episodes. Experience is not necessary as training will be provided for the right candidate.
