Location: Leeds (Hybrid working with travel into offices and to referral partners in Leeds)

Salary: £ 26,500 to £ 28,600

Contract: Full Time; 40 hours a week- (9 AM to 6:00 PM)

ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you ready to use your recruitment and outreach skills for a meaningful causeWe are seeking a confident, dynamic, and self-motivated individual to join our team as an Outreach Officer in Leeds. At our organisation, we are passionate about making a positive impact in the community by providing valuable training programs to those who need them the most.As Outreach Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the recruitment of learners to our training programs. Your responsibilities will include raising awareness of Generation's programs, building strong relationships with local partners, and engaging with diverse audiences to recruit learners who will benefit from our programs.In this role you will build and nurture relationships with partner organizations, including Job Centres, local authorities and charities. You will also engage with service users, particularly unemployed individuals, to generate referrals to our skills boot camps utilizing your excellent communication and influencing skills to effectively convey the value of our programmes.We think the successful candidate will be confident and outgoing demonstrating strong interpersonal skills & communication and influencing abilities. Your entrepreneurial spirit to identify fresh outreach opportunities and passion for making a positive impact in the community will make you successful in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Learner outreach, recruitment and admissions

1. Conduct recruitment and outreach work to advertise our programmes to people in our target groups to generate applications and enrolments, with the overall aim of generating 30 eligible applications from your outreach work for each programme.

2. Build and maintain partnerships with local charities, job centres, local authorities and other partners to identify opportunities to collaborate and to support recruitment, outreach and marketing efforts.

3. Organise and run events (virtual and in-person) for prospective learners and referral partners to generate enthusiasm for and understanding of our programmes.

4. Support the Senior Programme Manager to track use of the learner recruitment budget and keep it on target.

5. Support the Senior Programme Manager to plan the outreach strategy in your region.

6. Ensuring participants in our programmes meet eligibility requirements set by funding partners

Reporting and evaluation

1. Working closely with the Senior Programme Manager, Regional Director, Director of Admissions and Operations & Data manager to report data required by funding partner.

2. Act on feedback from learners, employers and other delivery partners to ensure we are improving the quality of our processes, programmes and learner experience wherever possible.

3. Contribute to the ongoing development of programmes; finding ways to make them more sustainable, scalable and replicable across the UK & Ireland.

4. Help develop Generation’s understanding of the barriers to employment faced by diverse groups in the UK & Ireland, and continually adapt our delivery model to better address these barriers.

ABOUT YOU

EXPERIENCE

1. You have delivered or significantly contributed to recruitment, outreach, marketing or sales campaigns.

2. You have at least 1 year experience in a role that demonstrates your ability to build external relationships and rapport with partners

3. You have organised and managed in-person and virtual events and/or projects.

4. You have managed partnerships and have working relationships with external third parties.

5. You have experience working to strict deadlines and targets in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable working independently.
