Job description

Outdoor activities instructor needed to run 1 hour ‘have-a-go’ sessions for adults. The candidate should preferably have previous experience instructing adults.

We offer a range of activities including Archery, Axe Throwing, Air Rifles and Crossbows so there is an opportunity to run some or all sessions. Previous experience of instructing these activities would be great, but not essential. We are happy to provide training for the right candidate.

The candidate needs to be versatile as well as able and keen to help with setup, running activities, putting kit away etc.

We need someone that can work independently and alongside other team members.

The candidate must be competent, hard-working and sociable. You will be working outside in all weathers, although most ranges have some protection from the elements.

The role may be one or two days per week depending on what works best for the individual. We want the role to be fun and it can work alongside your regular a weekday job.

The site is 2 miles from the nearest public transport, so you need your own vehicle. Manchester M30 Postcode. Please do not apply if you do not have a car.

Key requirements:

  • Experience running activities.
  • You must have your own transport as the site is 2 miles from the nearest public transport.
  • You must be relatively fit and active and willing to get stuck in without being asked.
  • You must be friendly and enthusiastic.
  • You will need a DBS check so ideal if you have a valid DBS already

Contract type:

  • You get paid for the hours you work £12 per hour which is around £100 per day. This will normally be from 9 or 10am until around 5 or 6pm.

Salary: £100.00 per day
