Job description
As our Outbound Logistics and Projects Specialist within the Logistics Team you’ll be reporting into the Logistics Manager with a dotted line into both the Outbound Supervisor and Head of Logistics. You will ensure the timely delivery of customer orders in the most cost effective way with the customer’s experience being a priority throughout. You will actively take the lead with any high value shipments, particularly if the shipments require specific documentation from a customs perspective and/or contains fine jewellery. You will also work side by side with the Head of Logistics providing a specialist projects skillset that will support with, but will not be limited to jewellery exhibitions, popups across the world which Threads are actively planning to develop significantly over the course of the next 12 months.
Salary for this role is £35k

This role does have in-office expectations based out of Telephone House in Shoreditch, London. This team requires 5 days a week together in the office.

Requirements:
You Will:
- Be the main point of contact for any and all high value shipments, arranging the additional documentation involved in sending high value shipments including, but not limited to carnets, TA’s and MIB’s.
- Proactively report on set KPIs, monitoring and suggesting ideas for continuous improvement
- Proactively resolve any complex shipping issues to minimise delays
- Partner with Threads Commercial teams and provide high level outbound knowledge for all future activations and projects.
- Be responsible for proactively sharing specialised knowledge with the Outbound team including best practices
- Providing your expert customs and shipping knowledge to work alongside the Head of Logistics, creating a framework that is going to support the Logistics function and the wider business with global events and special projects.
- Experience in import/export within the luxury industry
- Worked with supporting team members whilst they undertake MIB’s from organising support from our shipping partners to remotely walking them through customs processes and procedures
- Experience of carnets, TA’s and TIB’s
- Experience of shipping to and from global events and ensuring all relevant deadlines are met
- Experience with UK, US, EU, Gulf States and International shipping administration
- Harmonised System Codes knowledge
- Experience in dealing with CITES requests and requirements
