About the Role:
Sales Development Representative is the first touchpoint for potential customers, so making a good impression is paramount. You’ll get the opportunity to further develop our sales process by uncovering potential customers whose businesses could benefit and grow using Joblogic and create new qualified sales opportunities. You’ll increase sales efficiency by ensuring these opportunities are passed to our Sales team to champion the relationship.
As a Sales Development Representative, You will be given comprehensive training on Joblogic and sales training to enable you to confidently make outbound calls to prospective customers to book them for a software demonstration.This is a high-touch, rapport-building position that requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal. The ideal candidate should be upbeat, self-driven, well-organised, share a passion for technology and a love for working in a dynamic and a fast paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Making outbound calls to the prospects for booking Sales demos.
- Managing the leads pipeline and being on top of the leads
- Keep up with the product releases so you understand all product functionality and how it could resolve prospects’ problems
- Communicate respectfully and politely with potential customers at all times
- Place phone calls to potential clients from our computerised directory
- Generate between 5 and 15 sales leads per day
- Communicate any problems, concerns or questions to supervisory staff
Essential Experience and Skills
- Minimum of 2-years (recent) of proven prospecting/lead generation experience - on calls, via email, on Linkedin and other relevant platforms.
- Ability to learn a comprehensive software platform
- Ability to build strong relationships with prospective customers and follow up in a consistent manner.
- Tenacity and the ability to focus on the customer experience
- An eagerness to contribute to the success of the team
- Target driven nature, extreme focus on KPIs
- Able to work effectively under pressure and remain positive
- Experience in Live chat tools like Intercom will be preferred.
- International Work/Project/Campaign experience i.e USA, UK, CANAD advantage but not necessary.
- Excellent communication (Verbal and Written) Skills - Native.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to deliver high quality work like Customer Experience, timely follow ups etc.
- Be able to prioritise work based on business goals
- A team player, with the ability to communicate and work effectively with other departments if needed.
- Refer customer complaints to supervisor for quality control
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of the Google suite of products & Microsoft
- Knowledge of using Active Campaign or other CRM Databases
- Previous experience in an inbound or outbound sales / lead generation / telemarketing role
- Interest / knowledge of IT, ERP, Software Implementation
- General knowledge of the Trades Industry, such as Heating, Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, Security etc.
What will a typical day look like at Joblogic?
- Learning about the trade contracting and field service industry to effectively communicate the value that Joblogic provides to prospects via phone and/or e-mail or any other social platform.
- Acting as the first point of contact for new inbound sales enquiries, aiming to qualify and evaluate the requirement of leads to establish the need, budget, and timeframes
- Engaging with cold and past prospects, as well as following up on marketing driven campaigns with prospects.
- Booking software demonstrations with our Sales team
- You will consistently ensure a high conversion rate to qualified lead status and close a high proportion of deals to ensure above quota results are consistently achieved
- Reviewing the new releases to top up the product knowledge for educating the prospects while on the phone or communicating via email.
