Job description
Berry Head Hotel is seeking a Maintenance / groundskeeper to join our team in Brixham.
Essential Duties:
- Tidy and ensure High standards of external appearance of the property
- Perform general maintenance and repairs internally and externally
- Perform daily tasks including but not limited to: sweeping, emptying litter bins checking pools and hot tubs, performing tasks in the maintenance book
- Keep External areas of the facility clean tidy and presentable
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager as needed.
Qualifications: Required Knowledge:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to communicate effectively with management, co-workers, customers, and residents
The Role would be focused more on the external parts of the building in the summer, In the winter when refurbishments are taking place more internally.
Shift pattern is 8AM until 4PM 5 days per week to include at least one weekend day.
Extra Hours may be available if required
