An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Therapy Assistant to join the Orthopaedic and Outreach Therapy team who are part of the Integrated Community Services Division.
New Health and Social Care Act Regulations were approved by Parliament on the 22nd July 2021, which requires all those working or entering a CQC registered care home (for persons who require nursing or personal care) to be fully vaccinated (Covid 19) from the 11th November 2021, unless exempt under the regulations. You will therefore be required to provide proof of vaccination or exemption if you are successful at interview. Health information is classed as special category data under UK GDPR legislation therefore, vaccination/exemption confirmation will be processed and stored in line with the Data Protection Act 2018.

This post will involve working on acute orthopaedic trauma and elective wards and with out outreach staff who visit patients in their own home. you will provide support for qualified Physiotherapists and occupational therapists and carry out related tasks within your competencies.
