Origination Associate - Portuguese & Spanish speaking
Our Deal Origination team is responsible for contacting and screening companies as potential acquisition targets for our clients, who are Private Equity firms and Corporate M&A teams.
We're a smart, dedicated, and fun team with huge plans for growth in order to achieve our vision. We're looking for outstanding people to help us shape the future of M&A deal origination and we need an incredible individual to lead the team that curates M&A opportunities for our clients.

Role and responsibilities:
- Driving process improvement and developing enhanced organizational practices
- Talking to targeted company CEOs on the phone with the following purposes:
- introduce our client and the corresponding M&A opportunity
- collect information
- connect the company CEOs with our clients
- Aiding Client Directors (who manage the client relationship and run the overall project) in providing exceptional service to a portfolio of Private Equity and Corporate clients
- Developing rapport, communicating, and delivering information credibly to C-suite and high-level executives at contacted companies
- Working collaboratively with the Sales Team to enlarge Finquest's network in the region, i.e. providing sales leads coming from the curation process
Your background:
- Enjoy building rapport with high level, time constrained executives and sharing insights to discover more about a company, its key competitive advantage, and relevant information
- Strong written and oral communication skills; including fundamental presentation skills and the demonstrated ability to articulate ideas clearly and appropriately influence others
- Proven experience in establishing and refining processes
- Experience of working to, achieving, and holding others to targets
- Ability to work and thrive in a multi-tasked, fast paced environment
- Comfortable conducting virtual meetings and cold-calling
- Resilient in overcoming objections and a tenacious and determined attitude when faced with barriers or obstacles
- Right to work in the country of employment (UK)
- English, Portuguese and Spanish speaking
