BHRUT are looking to recruit highly motivated and enthusiastic Orderlys to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team at Queens Hospital.
If you are currently a Care Assistant within a care home and are looking to develop your career by working within the NHS, look no further.
This is an amazing opportunity to begin your healthcare career within the NHS, receiving all the necessary training and supervision you need to become a Healthcare Assistant. You will develop new skills and knowledge whilst working with an established team gaining valuable work experience in an acute ward setting.
As an orderly, you will complete the 15 Standards of the Care Certificate, learning how to be part of the NHS healthcare team. This includes supporting Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide outstanding patient care including personal hygiene. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe environment ensuring that trust procedures and policies are maintained at all times. You should have good communication and organisational skills to work collaboratively with all members of the multi-disciplinary team.
You will be registered with Bank Partners as an Orderly whilst you complete your Care Certificate. You will need to commit to a specific amount of hours each week during this period. Once complete, you will then become a Healthcare Assistant and can pick your own flexible shifts to suit your schedule.
Essential Requirements:
- Commit to set shifts each week
- Have experience as a Care Assistant within a Care home for a minimum of 6 months
- Right to Work in the UK
