Islamic Aid is seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as an Oracle NetSuite Administrator. The Oracle NetSuite Administrator will play a crucial role in setting up and maintaining the Oracle NetSuite platform for bookkeeping and accounting purposes, ensuring accurate financial records and streamlined processes. This position reports directly to the Finance Manager.
Responsibilities:
1. Oracle NetSuite Setup:
- Configure and customize the Oracle NetSuite platform to align with Islamic Aid's bookkeeping and accounting requirements.
- Collaborate with the Finance Manager and other relevant stakeholders to define and implement appropriate system settings, workflows, and automation processes.
- Conduct data migration and integration activities to ensure a smooth transition from legacy systems to Oracle NetSuite.
- Integration with Salesforce CRM.
2. Financial Record Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records within the Oracle NetSuite platform.
- Monitor and reconcile financial transactions, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Implement appropriate controls to safeguard financial data and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
3. System Maintenance and Support:
- Perform regular system maintenance activities, including software updates, user management, and security configuration.
- Provide technical support to finance and accounting teams regarding Oracle NetSuite functionalities, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing system usage.
- Collaborate with the IT department and external vendors, if necessary, to address system-related issues and implement enhancements.
4. Reporting and Analysis:
- Develop and generate financial reports, statements, and analytics using Oracle NetSuite reporting tools.
- Support the Finance Manager in analyzing financial data and providing insights to inform decision-making processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of financial reports to relevant stakeholders.
5. User Training and Documentation:
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate finance and accounting staff on Oracle NetSuite functionalities, best practices, and system updates.
- Create and maintain user documentation, guidelines, and standard operating procedures for Oracle NetSuite usage within the finance department.
Qualifications and Competencies:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Oracle NetSuite Administrator or similar role, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Solid knowledge of Oracle NetSuite functionalities, including configuration, customization, and reporting tools.
- Experience of integration with Salesforce CRM
- Proficiency in financial data analysis and reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record management.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
