Salary & Benefits: The base salary banding for this role is £48,663 to £54,070 in London and £41,715 to £46,350 outside of London plus annual personal bonus, 15% employer pension contribution, private medical insurance, 30 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Cloud Services support the delivery and ongoing support for a diverse variety of Private Cloud Platforms which form art of the bank’s strategy to modernise and digitise its footprint on our journey to help Britain recover.

We're looking for a product support assistant to join the Oracle Cloud team, helping to shape the future Oracle Cloud products within the bank. This role will involve supporting the 100+ applications currently live on the platform and exploring and implementing new technologies across the estate.

Specific activities which you’ll be responsible for include things like;
Joining the Oracle Cloud Platform Team, you'll work directly with the Senior Product Manager. You'll contribute to the end to end lifecycle of the Oracle Cloud products including the delivery of new features, improvements to our existing estate and scoping of future products. You’ll be required to:
- Translate business customer needs into technical requirements ensuring that engineering teams understand exactly what is to be delivered and manage these requirements
- Identify platform and product evolution opportunities in response to known customer demand, existing deficiencies, supplier enhancements and wider industry developments. Then developing the opportunities
- Enhance customer advocacy by promoting the platform and products, acting as a focal point for customer feedback and driving retention through proactive engagement initiatives
- Providing recommendations on optimisation across all services, delivering the best value to LBG at all times
- Provide support to the Cloud Technology Services Leadership Team showing flexibility to be able to adjust to, and contribute towards, Business priorities.
What do we need to see from applicants
- A desire to develop a solid understanding of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Oracle Databases in order to be an advocate
- Experience of working as a Product Manager or Product Owner, defining and prioritising product backlogs and seeing work through to delivery
- The ability to think outside of the box to solve problems with strong influencing skills including an innovative approach
- A pro-active attitude to work by yourself - work will not always be lined up and given explicitly.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and partners at once
Desirable skills to have
- Experience working on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and/or Exadata Cloud At Customer Infrastructure
- Previous experience working with Oracle Databases
