Introduction
In this role, you'll work in our IBM Client Innovation Center (CIC), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. These centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Monitoring and administering Oracle databases
• Provide daily/weekly reporting on availability, capacity and demand management
• Work on L2 and L3 incidents and report progress
• Update systems with progress on incidents
• Work with third parties to resolve incidents
• Update config management and knowledge management databases
• Support path to live release management and deployment

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience in design & deployment of databases (Autonomous DB, User-Managed (VM DB, BM DB, Exadata on Cloud, Exadata Cloud at Customer) & Database on Compute)
• Ability to manage the provisioning of database on Cloud and how to connect to it.
• Strong knowledge in Database administration (scaling up & down, cloning, performance tuning, etc)
• Experience of Patching, Backup & Restore, Security, and Migration (Lift & Shift)
• Previous experience of Oracle Cloud DBA or Oracle Database 11g and/or 12c Administration from at least 3 projects
• 5+ years of consulting or support experience
