Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a healthcare assistant role working within the Ophthalmology Clinic at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. We are an energetic friendly team looking for a Health Care Assistant who is supportive, caring and flexible with a willingness to learn and develop within this specialty.
This is a very busy role seeing high volumes of patients. The post holder must be efficient, competent, calm and compassionate in their care of patients.
The post holder will need to possess relevant experience that demonstrates their suitability for the role and have a desire to develop their caring skills within the specialty. Appropriate support and training will be provided.
Informal visits are encouraged.

To participate, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse/ Midwife, in the delivery of patient care to a defined client group, in accordance with the philosophy of care which enables clients to maintain their skills and maximize the potential to achieve independence. Work as part of an effective and caring team.
The post holder works under the indirect supervision of the Registered Nurse/ Midwife. They will work within the boundaries of their existing and developing skills at all times. The post holder is expected to maintain high standards of care, managing their time, tasks and resources effectively.
