Production Operative

Liquid Science are a chemical manufacturer based on the outskirts of Burnley.

We are looking to recruit a Blending operative to work within our production team.

As a Blending Operative at Liquid Science, your role will be to provide effective support to the team leaders and managers in achieving all required targets

Key Responsibilities

• Blending of Bulk liquids from various raw materials including Caustics, Acids and Bleach using on site mixers & vessels
• Ensure Compliance to the set Quality Control and Health & Safety standards across the manufacturing areas.
• Deliver blended goods from the blending area to the filling/despatch areas of the warehouse as per production schedules.
• Assist in ensuring that the production plans are on track, tackling any issues as they arise and reporting issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure all tasks are undertaken in accordance with the necessary procedures.
• Filling of small orders ranging from 250mls – 210Ltr.
• Any other relevant duties as reasonably required by the business.

Essential

• Ability to follow standard operating procedures
• Ability to work under pressure and meet exacting deadlines
• Takes ownership of actions and responsibilities
• Numeracy and literacy skills

Desirable

• Previous experience of handling chemicals

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From £22,227.00 per year
