AT THIS TIME, WE ARE HIRING FOUR (4) EMPLOYEES FOR THE
NIGHT SHIFT WORKING FROM 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM.
THE POSITION
- Monitors and responds in an appropriate manner to 9-1-1 emergency and non-emergency telephone lines and TDD devices for incoming requests for service of the City's law enforcement, fire/rescue and emergency medical agencies.
- Responds quickly and correctly to calls, assumes control of the conversation in order to obtain accurate information from callers and correctly transfers the information into a computer while talking and assessing the priority of the request for service.
- Answers all incoming calls to the City's 911 center; disseminates information and performs routine clerical tasks.
- Perform other related duties as required.
