- A Local Weighting Allowance of £1,002 is also payable

Main Accountabilities of the Role
This role involves:
- Assisting in the day-to-day operation delivery of prescribed services based at the Chalvey Waste Depot
- Predominately at the Household Waste and Recycling Centre
- But could also be asked to assist with:
- Transfer Station
- Weigh Bridge
- Ensure the service operates safely and is compliant with Slough Borough Council policies and procedures relating to both staff and customers.
What you will need to have
- An understanding in operational delivery in a similar service, including teamworking, safe systems of work and knowledge of technical / legislative compliance.
- dealing with the public, their enquiries, and difficult customers
Skills and Qualifications:
- a good general standard of education including English, maths, and IT literacy
- a willingness to train and secure qualifications e.g. Weights and Measures
