The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a hands-on Plant Operative to join our small team working on our asphalt waste processing plant at the Bardon Hill site, Coalville.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is passionate about their work and is looking for employment with a company who, in return for their commitment and hard-work, genuinely cares about their safety, health, wellbeing , job satisfaction and career development.
- You will effectively supervise and coordinate all site operations in a safe manner, maintaining production to meet customer demand.
- Carrying out inspections on mobile plant and raising any defects.
- Operating mobile plant and crushing and screening equipment.
- Carrying out regular inspections on stock piles ensuring there are no safety risks
Who you are
- Self-Motivated with initiative and a pro-active confident approach.
- Previous experience working with heavy mobile plant.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relations with others.
- Be able to plan and prioritise effectively.
- Highly organised with demonstrable planning and delivery capabilities.
- Understanding of basic maintenance and PPM.
