We are looking to appoint two suitably qualified and experienced individuals to undertake the role of Operations Team Manager. One of the vacancies is within our Responsive Repairs team and the other within our Empty Homes team.
About the role
We have a number of vacancies within our Property Services teams. These roles have become available due to our continued growth in the North-East and as part of our on-going commitment to provide as many good quality homes as we can; to deliver excellent service to our customers; and to shape strong, sustainable places for our communities.
About you
We are looking for an experienced Operations Team Manager to join and support our property services team in managing an already excellent maintenance service, delivered to our customers in a way that that promotes high levels of customer focus, performance, safety, and quality, with a strong emphasis on innovation, forward thinking and continuous improvement.
The successful applicant should have a thorough understanding of building and maintenance practices in a social housing environment. They must possess the relevant knowledge, skills, experience necessary to successfully manage a multi- disciplined team of in-house trade colleagues, supported by approved sub–contractors to undertake repair and maintenance tasks in a fast moving and dynamic responsive repair and empty homes working environment.
They must be dynamic, with a collaborative and engaging style, and possess strong customer service, people management and organisational skills. You should be highly organised, capable of working to tight deadlines, achieving KPIs and targets in accordance with budget constraints.
A full UK driving licence is essential.

- Salary is £39,152 per annum (pending pay award)
- Location: Likely to be based out of our Stanley office.
- 37 Hours per week
- Essential car user allowance (own car to be used)
- Participation in the management of our out of hours service, which includes additional standby payments
