Job description
- The Operations Support Educator provides education and tracks mandatory training for staff on all shifts.
- Collaborates with leadership to ensure staff reviews competencies upon hire and annually.
- Supports leadership by facilitating staff adherence to accreditation standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Under the direction of the shift-coordinators/supervisor/managers, the Operations Support Educator works collaboratively with the all nonclinical departments of the hospital to identify learning needs, develop and implement educational strategies, and participate in learning effectiveness evaluation.
- Assist with New hire orientation and training.
- Performs transport or observer duties as needed.
- Other department duties as assigned.
- One year experience in either Patient transport or patient observer.
- Knowledge of the Patient Transport and patient observer workflow.
- High School Equivalent / GED
- 1-3 years of experience
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support
