Job Purpose
Reporting to the Front Line Manager (Terminal Supervisor), Service Delivery, the options Clerk's main duties will be to administrate all deliveries, collections, transhipments, and maintain sock controls for the IBBT Stock Control Department. This is to include both general cargo, fertilizer, and construction products.
Scope
The scope of the role covers the stock control of all resources involved in the bagging / blending, Terminal loading, unloading, storage and outbound logistics including:
· Bagging and blending plant operations

Accountabilities
· To maintain up to date stock controls throughout the terminal, and are required to produce documents, input information onto various spreadsheets and computer packages. (Identify and report any variances/errors immediately)
· Perform weekly stock checks and audits
· Keep paperwork and records relevant to deliveries and collections of Fertiliser (Raw Materials and Bagged Products) / General Cargo / Construction materials.
· To liaise with customers in a professional manner regarding stocks and products.
· After sufficient training, be able to work as a cargo-handler where skills permit.
· To undertake any operational tasks as and when required by the operations management commensurate where skills and experience permit, including checking duties in other areas where required.
· To ensure that all company policies, SSOW, procedures, best practices and standards are followed and maintained.
· To maintain standards of cleanliness and condition of the terminal and its buildings.
· To be flexible in the working arrangements
Essential
· Good level of understanding of HSES Legislation and Port Security requirements
· Ability to deliver exceptional customer service
· Flexible attitude
· Good IT skills
· Full UK Driving Licence
Ideal
· To have a background in stock control
· To have undertaken Fertiliser Handling Training (COMAH/FIAS)
