We currently have a great opportunity for an Operations Manager within our Lubricants department are you an experienced Operations Manager with a proven track record of operational excellence in Warehousing & Fleet Management
As the UK Operations Manager for Certas Energy you will ensure an efficient and effective customer focused sales support and distribution service throughout the UK lubricants network. Ensure that all logistics & warehouse operations are aligned & are working to excellent standards of HSEQ. Effectively utilise the resources available within specified budgets & controls to achieve a high OTIF performance that meets customer expectations
This a full time and permanent vacancy, field based with travel around the Northwest & Midlands as required

We're looking for:
- Focus on optimisation, cost-saving and continuous improvement, identifying opportunities for process enhancement and increased efficiency
- Line management of the Logistics / Warehousing teams
- Manage 3rd Party logistics contracts
- Monitor contractor SLA’s / KPI’s
- Resolve & overcome operational challenges
- Developing, implementing, and reviewing standard operating procedures for all operational processes & lead the use of LEAN methodology across the lubricants business.
- Maintaining high standards of quality, a safe working environment and compliance always
- Proactively helping, supporting, and training the team in terms of performance, welfare and conduct in line with company policies and procedures
- Manage back orders to ensure minimum customer dissatisfaction
- Support with customer site inspections to manage spillage / contamination incidents as necessary
- Management of vehicle distribution, health, safety, quality and environmental standards: vehicles and equipment, personnel (drivers), processes and procedures
- Manage the operational performance of the fleet: route planning, delivery efficiency, driver and vehicle utilisation, customer satisfaction
