Seeking an ambitious, hands-on leader with energy to work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment to grow long stay accommodation platform leveraging technology to become the easyJet of residential rental accommodation. A Hospitality professional with multi-site experience to lead the Operational and Head Office Teams.
The job
- Manage a structure covering sales (lettings) and marketing, operations, maintenance, and management.
- Reduce reliance on third parties whether maintenance contractors, letting agents or any other provider.
- Proactively manage staff performance to achieve high levels of productivity.
- Ensure team is scalable and able to adapt in a high growth environment.
- Drive occupancy, rentals and retentions by doing the basics well.
- Define and implement a lean structure, but customer centric service model to differentiate us from our competitors.
- Oversee efficient building management to maximise value.
- Use technology and systems to optimize service and efficiency levels.
You are and You have:
- A strong leader with the personality and experience to drive a team.
- Min 10 years’ experience leading a progressive and innovative team.
- Have Residential Management or Residential Asset Management experience.
- Passionate about service and customer satisfaction.
- Not afraid to try and fail in a pioneering and entrepreneurial business.
- Able to lead a team but prepared to roll up your sleeves and get involved in the detail.
- Strong understanding of Facilities Management and understanding of key drivers of value
- Strong organizational skills.
- Be able to travel extensively around operational sites and spend 2/3 days per week at Head Office in central London.
The first 12 months:
- net operating income by reducing voids (vacant flats means no income) and mitigating costs
The next 12 months:
Management – Front of House
- Employ directly Front of House staff with a hospitality background to ensure customer centric service for the eight-1st generation extended stay buildings, to improve tenant satisfaction and retention. Implement tools to measure success.
Back of House
- Develop the Back of House support Team utilising the skill base in the Hotels. Cross train the Team to cover multiple sites.
Development of Team Culture
- Work closely with the Group Teams to enhance and support a positive people culture.
Maintenance / IT
- Drive efficiencies and service levels through group wide procurement strategy and optimised use of technology. Implement maintenance structure to efficiently maintain the building on a proactive and reactive basis.

Tenant Management
- Fully absorb all building management, tenant management and maintenance from external agents
Lettings
- Use technology and inhouse sales & marketing to reduce reliance on and cost of third-party lettings and create an innovative, disruptive, and cost-efficient distribution platform.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £45,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
